Sardar Patel Institute of Economic & Social Research is established with the network of 40 computers throughout the campus with computer center.

Hardware facilities:
Computer Center of the institute is Air-conditioned and well Equipped with 10 Pentium IV machines of Acer connected with Linux Based server and One Proxy Server which is functioning 24 hours daily for all the staff members. Three BSNL Broadband connections provide round the clock Internet accessibility to all the computers of the Institute. Individual faculty and staff members are provided with Independent Computers and Printers with LAN facilities. In Addition to this, Computer Center has HP LaserJet, Hp Color LaserJet printer, HP Scanner and Lane printer are available. Computer Center has also a Projector with Large screen facility.

Software Facilities:
The Computer Center is equipped with a large collection of Softwares like SPSS 14.0 & Amos 6.0 for Econometrics and Statistical data analysis, Tally ies 7.2 for Accounting, ISM V5 office net for the Languages, clerical and Research work, Mcafee Antivirus software for protection and automation software Soul 2.0 for library work throughout the lane .Some faculty Members have developed problem -specific softwares during the Research project. The Center intends to document the data from Primary and Secondary sources for various Research projects conducted by the institute. The data of the completed Research projects are available in a form directly accessible for computer processing.
